Public Grievance & Redressal System
The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike will launch the
eGov Grievance
product
that manages Public Grievance & Redressal over Internet,
Phone and Paper based form.
The eGov Grievance system allows citizens to register
their complaints over internet, phone or paper-form and get
a complaint tracking number through which the redressal
details can be tracked.
The eGov Grievance system also does auto-routing of
complaints to the appropriate redressal-officers at BBMP so
that complaints can be addressed quickly and efficiently by
the right officer.
Another very useful feature(that has found great interest
and usage in Delhi and other cities of Karnataka) is the
visual reporting facility. Citizens and administrators alike
can view the aggregate data from the eGov Grievance system
through pie-charts and GIS reports that are made available
over the internet.
Many
other advanced features such as SMS integration, email
support for citizens who supply email addresses has been
made available.
The BBMP's eGov Grievance system is slate
to launch on Sept 15th 2006.
